Human Rights Commissioner Meets With AECID Mission

On 18 November, Mr. Cheikh Ahmedou Ould Ahmed Salem Ould Sidi, the Commissioner for Human Rights, Humanitarian Action, and Relations with Civil Society, met, in Nouakchott, with a mission from the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation (AECID), led by the general coordinator of its technical cooperation office in Mauritania, Mrs. Rita Santos Suarez.

The talks made it possible to review the areas of cooperation between the Commissioner for Human Rights and the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation, and ways to strengthen them further, particularly in the areas of human rights, humanitarian action, and relations with civil society.
