APIM Director General Receives Head of EU Delegation

On 5 November, Ms. Aissata Lam, the Director of the Agency for the Promotion of Investments in Mauritania (APIM), received, in Nouakchott, Ambassador Gwilym Jones, Head of the Delegation of the European Union (EU) to Mauritania.

During the meeting, the Director General made a presentation on the different missions of APIM and the enormous investment opportunities in Mauritanian productive sectors, particularly agriculture, livestock, and fishing, as well as public-private partnership projects.

The modalities of promoting cooperation between the two parties were also reviewed as well as the action to raise awareness on the importance of investment in our country and to strengthen dialogue with European companies.
