Human Rights Commissioner Meets With OHCHR Representative

On 1 November, Mr. Cheikh Ahmedou Ould Ahmed Salem Ould Sidi, the Commissioner for Human Rights, Humanitarian Action, and Relations with Civil Society, met, in Nouakchott, with Mr. Laurent Meillan, the representative of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) to Mauritania.

The talks were an opportunity for the two parties to review the cooperation relations between Mauritania and this UN body, particularly in the areas of human rights, humanitarian action, and relations with civil society.
