Human Rights Commissioner Meets With OHCHR Representative

Mr. Cheikh Ahmedou Ould Ahmed Salem, the Commissioner for Human Rights, Humanitarian Action, and Relations with Civil Society, received, Tuesday in Nouakchott, Mr. Laurent Meillan, the representative of the office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights to Mauritania.

The meeting focused on the cooperative relations between Mauritania and this UN body, as well as on the means to further strengthen them, particularly in the areas of intervention of the Commission.

The meeting was attended by the Deputy Commissioner, Mr. Rassoul Ould Khal.
