Foreign Minister Meets With AU Commission Chairperson

On 8 October, Mr. Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, met, in Rome, on the sidelines of the work of the third Italy-Africa ministerial conference, with the Chairperson of the African Union Commission, Mr. Moussa Faki Mahamat.

The meeting was an opportunity to examine issues of common interest at regional and continental levels, especially the challenges of security and development in the Sahel region.
