Economy Minister Receives French Ambassador

The Minister of Economic Affairs and Development, Mr. Abdallah Ould Souleymane Ould Cheikh Sidia, received on Thursday in Nouakchott His Excellency the Ambassador of the French Republic to Mauritania, Mr. Emmanuel Besnier, accompanied by a high-level delegation from the French Development Agency (AFD), including the Agency’s Regional Director for the Mediterranean and Sahel Region, Ms. Cécile Couprie, and the Director of the Agency’s office in Nouakchott, Mr. Ignace Monkam-Daverat.

The meeting was dedicated to an in-depth review of the state of economic and development cooperation relations between Mauritania and France, as well as to examining ways to strengthen this partnership and broaden its prospects in various fields.
