Foreign Minister Holds Talks with UN High Representative for Alliance of Civilizations

His Excellency the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, held talks on Wednesday at the headquarters of Mauritania’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York with the United Nations High Representative for the Alliance of Civilizations, Mr. Miguel Ángel Moratinos.

The discussions focused on the cooperative relations between Mauritania and the United Nations, as well as ways to strengthen and further develop them. The two sides also exchanged views on various issues of common interest.
