Aoujeft Residents Give Warm Welcome to President of Republic

The residents of the Aoujeft Department in the Adrar Wilaya gave a massive and enthusiastic popular welcome on Wednesday evening to His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, upon his arrival in the city.

This leg of the visit constitutes the fourth and final stop of the working and informational tour he is conducting in the Adrar Wilaya.

Citizens gathered along the road connecting the airstrip to the presidential residence in the city center, waving portraits of the President and displaying welcoming banners. They chanted slogans of support and praised the development projects and achievements that the department, in particular, and the Adrar Wilaya, in general, have benefited from over the past several years.

The welcoming ceremony was marked by traditional displays from horsemen and camel riders, alongside a large turnout of citizens from various villages and communes across the department, creating a vibrant atmosphere of joy and jubilation.
