Minister of National Defense Receives Commander of French Barkhane Forces

On 27 September, the Minister of National Defense, Mr. Hanenna Ould Sidi, received, in Nouakchott, General Laurent Michon, Commander of the French Barkhane forces in the Sahel.

The meeting, which was attended by Rear Admiral Ahmed Benaouf, Commander of the Third Office of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, and Mr. Robert Moulie, French Ambassador to Mauritania, focused on the existing cooperation relations between our country and France, particularly in areas related to the action of the said force in the Sahel.
