President of Republic Holds Meeting With Regional Governors

On July 30, Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani chaired a meeting with the country’s regional governors (walis) at the Presidential Palace in Nouakchott.

The meeting focused on assessing the state of development across Mauritania’s various regions, reviewing progress made in implementing development programs, and examining the main challenges facing local administrations.

The discussions formed part of the government’s ongoing efforts to monitor regional development, improve the implementation of public projects, and address key issues affecting communities throughout the country.
