Ministry of Social Action, Arab Union for Social Solidarity Sign Cooperation Agreement

On 23 September, Ms. Naha Haroune Cheikh Sidiya, Minister of Social Action, Children, and Family, supervised the signing of a cooperation agreement between Mauritania and the Arab Union for Social Solidarity (AUSS).

The agreement was signed on the Mauritanian side, by Mr. Sadvi Ould Sidi Mohamed, Secretary General of the Ministry of Social Action, and on the AUSS side, by its president, Mr. Ibrahim Abass Jassim Abdallah.

The protocol aims, among other things, to finance small projects, to support vulnerable families, to create a club made up of people living with a disability, to train them and give them social assistance, and to create recreational activities.

It should be noted that the AUSS is a non-governmental organization specializing in social development.
