His Excellency Mr. Amedi Camara presented his credentials on Thursday, in Gaborone to H.E. Mr. Duma Gideon Boko, President of the Republic of Botswana, in his capacity as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania to the Republic of Botswana, resident in Pretoria, Republic of South Africa.
Following the credential presentation ceremony, H.E. the Ambassador conveyed the greetings of H.E. the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, to H.E. the President of the Republic of Botswana, along with his wishes for good health and happiness, as well as further progress and prosperity for the brotherly people of Botswana.
For his part, H.E. Mr. Duma Gideon Boko asked H.E. the Ambassador to convey his greetings to His H.E. the President of the Republic, emphasizing the strong, exemplary relations and close cooperation between their two countries.
The ceremony for the presentation of credentials, on the Mauritanian side, took place in the presence of Ms. Boudi Saw, an advisor at the Mauritanian Embassy in Pretoria, along with a number of members of the Office of the President of the Republic of Botswana.
