Minister of Employment Receives World Bank Mission

The Minister of Employment and Vocational Training, Mr. Taleb Ould Sid’Ahmed, received on Wednesday morning a mission from the World Bank led by Mr. Nathan Belete, Director of World Bank Operations for Mauritania, the Senegal, The Gambia, Guinea-Bissau and Cape Verde, as well as Ms. Cristina Isabel Santos, Resident Representative of the World Bank in Mauritania.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed how to implement the Youth Employability Project in cooperation with the World Bank and the importance of its implementation as soon as possible. The two parties also examined the cooperation relations between Mauritania and the World Bank, in particular in the areas of intervention of the Ministry of Employment and Vocational Training.
The meeting took place in the presence of the Secretary General of the Ministry, Mr. Abdi Salem Ould Cheikh Saadbouh.
