Minister of Justice Returns to Nouakchott

The Minister of Justice, Mr. Mr Mohamed Ould Soueidatt, returned to Nouakchott on Wednesday morning from the French capital, Paris, having taken part in the opening of the ninth session of the World Congress Against the Death Penalty, organised by the organisation ‘Together Against the Death Penalty’.

The Minister had previously paid a visit to the Russian Federation at the invitation of his Russian counterpart, Mr. Konstantin Chuychenko, where they signed a cooperation agreement aimed at developing the partnership in the legal and judicial fields.

The Minister was accompanied during the visit by a delegation from the Ministry of Justice.
