Chamber of Commerce President Receives Chargé d’Affaires of Ukrainian Embassy

On 6 May in Nouakchott, the President of the Mauritanian Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture, Mr. Sheikh Al-Afia Ould Mohamed Khouna, received His Excellency Mr. Roman Sereda, Chargé d’Affaires at the Embassy of the Republic of Ukraine in Mauritania.
During the meeting, they reviewed cooperation between the Chamber and its Ukrainian counterpart, as well as ways to strengthen and develop these ties to serve mutual interests, boost trade, and open broader horizons for economic partnerships between the business communities of both countries.
At the conclusion of the meeting, it was agreed to organize a working meeting in the coming days via videoconference, bringing together the presidents of the two chambers to discuss various areas of cooperation and activate partnership mechanisms between them.
The meeting was attended by the Secretary General of the Chamber of Commerce, along with the Counselor at the Ukrainian Embassy in Nouakchott, Mr. Viktor Riort.
