On 25 April, President of Republic Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani departed Nouakchott late Saturday for Abu Dhabi on an official visit to the United Arab Emirates.
He was seen off at Nouakchott–Oumtounsy International Airport by Prime Minister El Moctar Ould Diay, along with senior government officials, including Minister Secretary-General of the Presidency Moulaye Ould Mohamed Laghdaf; ministers advisors Mohamed Mahmoud Ould Cheikh Abdallahi Ben Boya and Aissata Ba Yahya; Justice Minister Mohamed Ould Soueidatt; Defense Minister Hanena Ould Sidi; Interior Minister Mohamed Ahmed Ould Mohamed Lemine; Chief of President’s Staff Major General Mohamed Mokhtar Cheikh Menni; Nouakchott West Wali Hamoud Ould M’Hamed; and Nouakchott Region President Fatimetou Mint Abdel Malick.
The President is accompanied by a high-level delegation that includes Nani Ould Chrougha, Minister in charge of the Presidential Cabinet; Ahmed Ould Bah, known as Hmeida, presidential advisor; and El Hassan Ould Ahmed, Director General of State Protocol.
