The President of the Republic Holds a Phone Call with the Saudi Crown Prince

His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Sheikh El Ghazouani, once again held Sunday, a phone call with His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, during which he expressed Mauritania’s strong condemnation of the missile attacks carried out against the Kingdom.
His Excellency the President affirmed Mauritania’s full solidarity and steadfast support for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, both its leadership and its people, considering that any attack on its security is an attack on Mauritania’s security, expressing his confidence in the Kingdom’s ability to overcome these challenges.
The two sides also stressed the importance of prioritizing dialogue and exercising restraint, adopting diplomatic solutions as a way to stop escalation and reduce tensions, contributing to the enhancement of security and stability in the region.
