Minister of Economic Affairs Returns to Nouakchott

On March 16, Mr. Abdallahi Ould Souleimane Ould Cheikh Sidiya,  Minister of Economic Affairs and Development, returned to Nouakchott from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, following an official visit to the Islamic Development Bank Group (IsDB).

During the visit, the minister held high-level meetings to discuss and develop the strategic partnership framework between Mauritania and the IsDB.

The visit was also marked by the signing of a series of major financing agreements with the IsDB, as well as the conclusion of several partnership agreements with the Group’s specialized entities, including the Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector (ICD) and the International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC).
