Foreign Minister Meets With UNHCR Representative

On March 16 in Nouakchott, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, met with Mr. Tayar Şuklu Kansızoğlu, the representative of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Mauritania.

The meeting focused on cooperation between Mauritania and the UNHCR, as well as ways to strengthen and expand it, with both sides exchanging views on issues of common interest.
