The Prime Minister participates in a discussion session at the World Government Summit in Dubai

Today, Thursday, in Dubai, the Prime Minister, Mr. Mokhtar Ould Djay, reviewed during a discussion session, held as part of the summit taking place from February 3 to 5, the vision of His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, aimed at developing Mauritania and advancing its development path.

The Prime Minister also highlighted the natural resources and promising opportunities that Mauritania boasts in the fields of fisheries, agriculture, and mining, pointing to the country’s favorable conditions for attracting investment, thanks to its political and security stability and ongoing economic reforms.

Hi also touched on Mauritania’s strategic location as a gateway between Africa and the Arab world, reviewing the government’s plans to develop infrastructure that supports development, foremost among them modernizing the road network and enhancing regional connectivity to serve trade and economic integration among the countries of the region. This participation comes within the framework of Mauritania’s keenness to strengthen its presence in international forums and to introduce its investment opportunities and developmental prospects.
