The Minister of Higher Education Receives an Italian Delegation to Discuss Strengthening Cooperation in Higher Education

The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Mr. Yakoub Ould Meine, received today, Monday, in his office in Nouakchott, a delegation from the Italian Republic led by Mr. Stefano Gatti, Director General for Development Cooperation, in the presence of the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania to Italy, Her Excellency Mrs. Khadija Mbarek Vall, and the Ambassador of the Italian Republic accredited to Mauritania, Her Excellency Mrs. Paola Maria Cristina Russo.
During the meeting, ways to strengthen and develop the existing partnership between the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Italian Republic were discussed, especially in the fields of higher education and academic cooperation, contributing to supporting university training, exchanging expertise, and promoting scientific research between institutions of the two countries.
