National Assembly Speaker Receives Japan’s Ambassador

On 21 January, in Nouakchott, Mr. Mohamed Bamba Meguett, Speaker of the National Assembly, received His Excellency Mr. Uchida Hiroyuki, Japan’s Ambassador to Mauritania.

The meeting was part of efforts to strengthen ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

Discussions between the two sides focused on ways to enhance bilateral cooperation, particularly in the parliamentary sphere, as well as issues of common interest.
