National Assembly Speaker Receives Algerian Ambassador

On 21 January, in Nouakchott, Mr. Mohamed Bamba Meguett, Speaker of the National Assembly, received His Excellency Emine Said, Ambassador of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria to Mauritania.

The meeting was part of efforts to strengthen the excellent historical and fraternal relations between Mauritania and Algeria.

Discussions between the two parties focused on ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation, particularly in the parliamentary sphere, as well as issues of common interest.
