2025 Africa Cup of Nations: Ivory Coast National Team Qualifies for Quarterfinals

The Ivory Coast national team qualified for the quarter-finals of the 35th edition of the Africa Cup of Nations held in Morocco, after defeating Burkina Faso 3-0 yesterday evening, Tuesday, in the match held in the Moroccan city of Marrakech.
The Ivorian national team recorded a hat-trick with Amadou Diallo scoring in the 20th minute, Yann Djamandi in the 32nd minute, and Bousmane Touré in the 87th minute.
The Ivory Coast national team, the defending champions, will face Egypt, the record holder for the most tournament wins (7 times), next Saturday in the quarterfinals.
