President of the National Assembly and his Senegalese Counterpart visit the National Office of Museums

The President of the National Assembly, Mr. Mohamed Bamba Maguett, and his Senegalese counterpart, Mr. Malick Ndiaye, visited the National Museum Office this Wednesday morning in Nouakchott.
The delegation was received upon its arrival at the headquarters of the National Office of Museums by His Excellency the Minister of Culture, Arts, Communication, and Relations with Parliament, Spokesperson of the Government, Mr. El-Hussein Ould Medou, and the Director General of the National Office of Museums, Mr. Sidi Abdallah Al-Bukhari Mohamed Ahmed.
During the visit, the delegation toured the various wings of the museum and received explanations about its components and the artifacts it houses.
At the end of the visit, the President of the Senegalese National Assembly wrote a message in the Golden Book of the National Museum Office, in which he expressed the unity of the two brotherly peoples and the historical ties that bind them.
He added, ‘After the visit, I will remain convinced that we are two countries, but we are one people. Our shared history must be preserved because it forms a strong link between our nations.’
