President of Republic Inaugurates Nouakchott South Courthouse, El Mina Court

As part of the celebrations for the 65th anniversary of National Independence Day, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, inaugurated the courthouse of the Wilaya of South Nouakchott and the court of the moughataa of El Mina on 22 December in Nouakchott.

His Excellency, the President of the Republic, visited the various offices and premises of the two facilities, listening to detailed explanations from officials on the standards followed in their construction, in accordance with the specifications. He then cut the symbolic ribbon and unveiled the commemorative plaque, marking the start of their operation.

The Nouakchott South Courthouse, built with European Union funding worth MRU 115 million, comprises 46 offices and two courtrooms.

El Mina Court, also funded by the European Union to the tune of MRU 30 million, comprises seven offices and one courtroom.
