President of Republic Inaugurates Radio Mauritania Station in Ouadane

His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, inaugurated today, Friday, as part of the launch program for the activities of the fourteenth edition of the Heritage Cities Festival, the Radio Mauritania station in the city of Ouadane.

His Excellency the President of the Republic toured the various rooms of this station, which will contribute to bringing media services closer to the citizens in this historic city, where he received explanations regarding its programming grid, its coverage range, and its role in raising awareness and educating citizens while bringing media services closer to them.

The station includes two studios, one for broadcasting and the other for production, and a specialized FM broadcasting system with a range exceeding 70 km, in addition to equipment for reporting and live transmission, production studios and halls, as well as administrative offices.

The station also includes a Mahadra Heritage Museum consisting of eight sections, housing the various sciences taught in the Chinguetti Mahadra, such as the sciences of the Holy Quran, the Sunnah, Fiqh (jurisprudence), and the Arabic language, as well as the science of Usul (principles) and Maqasid (objectives), Hadith sciences, and the rules of the Prophet’s Biography (Sira).
