Embassy of Qatar in Nouakchott organises a Reception on the Occasion of the National Day of the State of Qatar

The Embassy of the State of Qatar in Mauritania held a reception this evening, Tuesday, in Nouakchott, on the occasion of the National Day commemorating the founding of the State of Qatar.
Representing the government at this ceremony was His Excellency the Minister of Justice, Mr. Mohamed Ould Sweidatt; the Minister of Foreign Affairs and African Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad, acting; the Minister of Islamic Affairs and Traditional Education, Mr. Al-Fadil Ould Sidati Ould Ahmed Louly; the Presidential Mission Officer, Mr. Ahmed Salem Mohamed Fadel; and the Prime Minister’s Advisor in charge of Political Affairs, Mrs. Hindou Mint Ainina.
In a statement on the occasion, His Excellency Mr. Shaheen bin Ali Khalfan Al Kaabi, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Mauritania, expressed the depth and authenticity of the longstanding relationship between the State of Qatar and the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, adding that this relationship is continuously evolving and strengthening day by day.
He praised the excellent level of relations between the two brotherly countries under the leadership of His Excellency President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani and His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar, which has been manifested in further effective partnership and constructive cooperation in the interest of the two peoples and countries.
He added in the same context that the State of Qatar has implemented many important projects in Mauritania, and is constantly keen on opening new horizons for cooperation. Qatar Charity, through its office in Nouakchott, also exerts significant efforts in the fields of relief and assistance within the scope of the services it provides across various parts of the country, offering everything that would develop the relationship and serve the two brotherly peoples.
The ceremony was distinguished by the presence of the ambassador on a special mission at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and African Cooperation and Mauritanians abroad; the ambassador, Director General of the Arab World Department at the Directorate of Bilateral Cooperation; the Deputy Director General of Protocol at the same ministry; as well as a number of accredited members of the diplomatic corps in Mauritania and prominent national figures.
