President of Republic Meets with Chadian Counterpart

The President of the Republic, Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, held private talks, Monday evening at the Presidential Palace in Nouakchott, with his Chadian counterpart, Mr. Mahamat Idriss Deby Itno, President of the Transitional Military Council, President of the Republic of Chad, Head of State, President in Office of the G5-Sahel.

The talks focused on the cooperative relations between the two brotherly countries, the means to strengthen and develop them, and issues of common interest.

Discussions were then extended to members of the Mauritanian and Chadian accompanying delegations.
