Minister of Health heads to Tunisia

The Minister of Health, Mr. Mohamed Mahmoud Ely Mahmoud, left Nouakchott, Saturday, for Tunis, in response to an invitation from his Tunisian counterpart, to participate in the Tunis Forum on the Development of Chinese African Medicine.

Ministers, officials and experts from African countries, as well as representatives from China and international health institutions, are participating in this event.

Among other things, this conference aims to strengthen medical cooperation and exchange experiences in the fields of digital health, preventive medicine, medical research, and traditional and complementary medicine, in addition to exploring mechanisms to support the capacities of African countries in the areas of pharmaceutical manufacturing, laboratory equipment and medical training.
