Minister of National Defense Receives Barkhane Force Commander

The Minister of National Defense, Mr. Hanena Ould Sidi, received, Friday in Nouakchott, General Marc Conruyt, Commander of the French Barkhane force.

The meeting, which was attended by Brigadier General Ahmed Ben Aouf, Commander of the Third Office at the General Staff of the Armed Forces and HE Mr. Robert Moulie, French Ambassador to Mauritania, focused on relations of cooperation uniting the two countries and on means likely to develop and strengthen them, particularly in the field of intervention of the ministry.
