Nouakchott Region Chairperson Leaves for Kigali

The chairperson of the regional council of Nouakchott, Ms. Fatimettou Mint Abdel Maleck, left Nouakchott on Friday for Kigali to attend the general assembly of the International Association of Francophone Mayors (AIMF).

The meeting will examine issues relating to decentralization, development, and participatory democracy.

On the sidelines of the general assembly, Ms. Mint Abdel Maleck is expected to meet with partners of the Nouakchott region.
