Minister of Culture is heading to Iraq

Nouakchott, October 13, 2025 (AMI) – The Minister of Culture, Arts, Communication, and Relations with Parliament, government spokesperson, Mr. El Houssein Ould Medou, left Nouakchott this Monday for Iraq, where he will participate in the work of the Mauritanian-Iraqi Joint Cooperation Commission to be held in Baghdad on the 13th and 14th of the current month.
The minister will preside over these proceedings alongside his Iraqi counterpart, the Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Antiquities, Dr. Ahmed Fakak Al Badrani
