Minister of Petroleum and Energy is heading to Washington to participate in the IMF and World Bank Meetings.

Nouakchott, October 13, 2025 (AMI) – The Minister of Energy and Petroleum, Mr. Mohamed Ould Khaled, left Nouakchott yesterday evening for the United States of America to participate in the annual meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group, which will be held in Washington from October 13 to 18.

The highlights of these meetings will be the plenary session, the meetings of the Development Committee and the International Monetary and Financial Committee, as well as a series of key events such as regional briefings, press conferences, and forums dedicated to international development, the global economy, and financial markets.The minister is accompanied by a significant delegation from his department.
