President of the Republic meets with President of the European Investment Bank

The President of the Republic, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, met today, Thursday, in Brussels, with Ms. Nadia Calviño, President of the European Investment Bank, on the sidelines of the Global Gateway Forum.
During the meeting, His Excellency the President expressed his deep appreciation for the fruitful partnership between our country and the European Investment Bank and praised the Bank’s continued support for our country in the areas of infrastructure, digital transformation, green energy and private sector financing.
The meeting was an opportunity to reaffirm our country’s commitment to continuing to strengthen cooperation with the European Investment Bank, particularly in future projects related to green hydrogen and the development of road and port infrastructure.
