The Minister of Economic Affairs and Development, Mr. Abdallah Suleiman Cheikh Sidiya, held discussions this Thursday morning at his office in Nouakchott with Her Excellency Ms. Leila Peter Yahya, the resident coordinator of the United Nations system in Mauritania.
The discussions addressed the aspects of cooperation between our country and the United Nations, and the means to strengthen and develop it to serve national priorities, especially in the economic and development fields.A number of files of mutual interest were also reiterated, with an emphasis on the importance of continuing coordination to support programs and projects that contribute to achieving sustainable development and enhancing national capabilities.
The meeting was attended by the Director General of Policies and Development Strategies, Mr. Cheikhna Ould Badad, alongside Mr. Abdur Rahman El-Dadi, the Deputy Director General of Policies and Development Strategies.
