Mauritania Offers Condolences to Turkish Government Following Azmir Earthquake

Nouakchott, 1 November (AMI) – The Islamic Republic of Mauritania has expressed its deep compassion and sadness following the earthquake that hit the Turkish city of Azmir and caused great losses.
On this occasion, it presented, in a message from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Mauritanians abroad, its sincere condolences and compassion to the Turkish government and people, following the disaster.

“The Islamic Republic of Mauritania has learned with deep sadness the news of the earthquake which hit the city of Azmir, resulting in many casualties,
In this painful circumstance, the Islamic Republic of Mauritania offers its sincere condolences to the government and to the brotherly Turkish people as well as to the families of the martyrs. It implores Allah, the Almighty, to grant speedy recovery to the injured.
