Minister of Foreign Affairs meets with the European Commissioner for Home Affairs and Migration.

The Minister. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad, met today, Tuesday, in New York, on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly, with Mr. Magnus Brunner, European Commissioner for Home Affairs and Migration.
During the meeting, views were exchanged on the areas of cooperation between Mauritania and the European Union, and ways to strengthen and develop them, in addition to discussing various issues of mutual interest.
Attending the meeting alongside the honorable minister were the Ambassador of Mauritania in New York, Mr. Sidi Mohamed Laghdaf, and Mrs. Mariam Sow, the ambassador and director of Africa in the General Directorate of Bilateral Cooperation at the ministry.
