Minister of Culture meets with a Delegation from the French Development Agency.

The Minister of Culture, Arts, Communication, and Parliamentary Relations, the government spokesman, Mr. Hussein Ould Medou, received today, Thursday, in his office in Nouakchott, a delegation from the French Development Agency (AFD).

The delegation included Mr. Bernard Rouby, the advisor responsible for cooperation and cultural affairs at the Embassy of the French Republic in Mauritania; Mr. Ines Monkam Davira, the director of the French Development Agency in Mauritania; and Ms. Domitille Loupito, mission officer at the French Development Agency.

The meeting discussed the existing cooperative relations between the Islamic Republic of Mauritania and the French Republic, particularly in the fields of culture, media, and arts, and ways to enhance this cooperation to serve the priorities of cultural development in Mauritania.

Mr. Ahmed Issa Al-Yadali, the Director of Communication, attended the meeting on behalf of the ministry.
