The President of the Republic departs for the United States of America on a Working Visit.

His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, departed Nouakchott this morning, Tuesday, heading to Washington (United States of America) for a working visit. His Excellency the President of the Republic was accompanied to his departure at Nouakchott International Airport by the Prime Minister, Mr. Mokhtar Ould Djay, the Minister Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic, Mr. Moulaye Ould Mohamed Laghdaf, the Minister Advisors to the Presidency of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Abdallah Ould Othman and Ms. Aissata Ba Yahya, the Minister of Justice, Mr. Mohamed Mahmoud Ould Cheikh Abdallah Ben Boyah, the Minister of Defense, pensioners’ Affairs and Son of Martyrs, Mr. Hanana Ould Sidi, the Minister of the Interior, Decentralization Promotion and Local Development, Mr. Mohamed Ahmed Ould Mohamed Lemine, the Chief of Staff of the President of the Republic, Lieutenant General Ibrahim vall Cheibani Cheikh Ahmed, the Assistant Director of the Office of the President of the Republic, Ms. Gandiga Fatimata, the Governor of Nouakchott West, Mr. Mrabeh Rabou Ould Bounena Ould Abidine, and the Vice-President of the Nouakchott Region, Ms. Hawa Sidi Be.

 

His Excellency the President of the Republic is accompanied by an important delegation including:

– Nani Ould Chrougha, Minister in Charge of the Office of the President of the Republic;

– Sid’Ahmed Ould Bouh, Minister of Economy and Finance;

– Mohamed Ould Khaled, Minister of Energy and Petroleum;

– Thiam Tidjane, Minister of Mines and Industry;

– Cissa Mint Cheikh Ould Beida, Mauritanian Ambassador to Washington;

– Sid Mohamed Ould Ghaber, Charge d’Affaires at the Presidency of the Republic;
