Foreign Minister Receives Head of EU Delegation

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, received on Thursday in his office in Nouakchott the Ambassador and Head of the European Union Delegation to Mauritania, H.E. Mr. Joaquín Tasso Vilallonga.

The meeting provided an opportunity to examine cooperation and partnership relations between Mauritania and the European Union, as well as ways to strengthen and develop them in the mutual interest of both parties. The two officials also exchanged views on various issues of common interest.
