The Prime Minister Mokhtar Ould Diay held talks on Thursday at his office at the First Ministry with HE Vice President of the Republic of Gambia Mohamed Bachir Sidi Jallow.
The talks, which come on the sidelines of the sixth session of the Mauritanian-Gambian Grand Joint Commission for Cooperation between the two countries, dealt with the close bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to promote and develop them for the common interests of the two brotherly peoples.
The meeting was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Marzoug, his Gambian counterpart, as well as the ambassadors of the two countries.
