Health Minister meets with Egyptian Officials to promote Bilateral Cooperation in the Health Field

The  minister of Health Abdallah Sidi Mohamed Wadih held on Tuesday a series of high-level meetings in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation in the health field and expanding the partnership in the fields of pharmaceutical manufacturing, surveillance, digital transformation, training and exchange of expertise.

At the beginning of his visit, the Minister met with HE Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population of the Arab Republic of Egypt, where the two sides reviewed ways to support health relations between the two countries and expand them to include mother and child health, pharmaceutical manufacturing, cooperation in the fight against endemic diseases, especially malaria, as well as digital transformation and exchange of successful experiences in health insurance programs.
