National Assembly Speaker Receives Algerian Parliament Speaker in Nouakchott

The President of the National Assembly, Mr. Mohamed Bemba Meguet, received on Monday evening at Nouakchott International Airport “Oumtounsi”, his Algerian counterpart, President of the People’s National Assembly, Mr. Brahim Bougalli, who is visiting Mauritania at the head of a high-level parliamentary delegation.

The visit, which runs from June 23 to 26, comes at the official invitation of the Mauritanian National Assembly, within the framework of strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two legislative bodies and developing relations of friendship and political consultation between the two brotherly countries.

Boughaly is accompanied by a number of Algerian officials in a visit aimed at exchanging legislative experiences, deepening coordination on issues of common interest, and opening new horizons for parliamentary cooperation between Mauritania and Algeria.
