Minister of Economy and Finance is heading to China to participate in a Meeting of Coordinators for the China-Africa Cooperation Forum.

The Minister of Economy and Finance, Mr. Sid’ Ahmed Ould Bouh, left Nouakchott yesterday evening, heading a significant delegation to the People’s Republic of China. He is set to participate in the ministerial meeting of coordinators following up on the work of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, scheduled to take place in Changsha, Hunan Province, from June 10 to 12, 2025.This participation is part of the celebrations for the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, aiming to enhance bilateral relations and activate mechanisms for economic cooperation between our country and China.The city will also host the fourth China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo from June 12 to 15, which the accompanying delegation will attend, providing an important platform to promote trade and investment exchanges.Through this participation, Mauritania aims to attract Chinese investments and develop a strategic partnership in the sectors of infrastructure, energy, and mining.
