Mauritania To Take Part in Abu Dhabi International Conference on Water Security

Mauritania, represented by Ms. Amal mint Maouloud, the Minister of Water and Sanitation, will take part in the High-Level International Conference on Water Security, Energy Transition, and Sustainability, which kicks off next Tuesday in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. 18,000 participants from 120 countries will take part in the meeting, a global platform for showcasing the latest innovations and technologies in the water and energy sectors, as well as providing a forum for exchanging experiences and strengthening international cooperation in these vital sectors.

In the ministerial meetings that will follow the official opening, the Minister will present Mauritania’s vision and strategies for water security and desalination in light of the challenges of climate change and sustainability.
