President of the Republic chairs a Meeting with the Campaign Management Members of Mauritania’s Candidate for the Presidency of AfDB

HE President of the Republic, Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, held a meeting on Monday, at the Presidential Palace in Nouakchott, with members of the campaign management of the Mauritanian candidate for the presidency of the African Development Bank AfDB, Sidi Ould Eltah.

The meeting, which discussed the latest developments of our country’s candidacy for the presidency of the African Development Bank and the efforts made to win this important international position, was attended by the members of the High Steering Committee, headed by Prime Minister Mokhtar Ould Djay, and including Minister Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic, Moulaye Ould Mohamed Laghdhaf, Minister Advisor to the President of the Republic, Aissata Ba Yahya, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad, Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, and Director of the Prime Minister’s Office, Cheikh Ould Zidane.

The meeting was also attended by members of the candidate’s campaign coordination, headed by Minister of Economy and Finance, Mr. Sid’Ahmed Ould Bouh, and his deputy, Ms. Naha bint Hamdi Ould Meknas, in addition to the members of the coordination: Minister of Hydraulics and Sanitation, Ms. Amal Mint Maouloud, Mr. Ahmed Ould Abah aka Hamida, Advisor to the President of the Republic, Messrs. Bal Mohamed El Habib, Mohamed Salem El Nani, Aichata Lam, Si Mamadou, Samba Kamra, Salka Yimer, Ahmed Salem Ahmed, Jamal El Taleb, Sidia El Hadj, as well as our candidate, Mr. Sidi Ould El Tah.
