Minister of Justice Receives Italian Ambassador

The Minister of Justice, Mr. Mohamed Mahmoud Ould Cheikh Abdoullah Ould Boya, received, Wednesday in Nouakchott, HE Mr. Armando Barucco, Ambassador of the Republic of Italy to Mauritania.

The meeting focused on strengthening cooperative relations between the two countries, in particular in the area of the ministry’s intervention.

The Italian diplomat praised Mauritania’s efforts in the area of human rights and the establishment of justice. He also praised the pioneering role played by our country in the stability of the Sahel region.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Mohamed Ould Ahmed Aïda, secretary general of the Ministry.
