On 3 March, in Cairo (Egypt), Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, met with Mr. Badr Abdel Ati, the Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration.
The talks focused on cooperation relations between our country and the Arab Republic of Egypt and ways of strengthening and developing them to serve the common interests of both countries.
The meeting also reviewed opportunities for cooperation between the two countries, particularly in mining, renewable energies, infrastructure, fisheries, education, and culture, as well as issues of common interest.
