Defense Minister Returns to Nouakchott from Ivorian Capital

The Minister of National Defense, Mr. Hanena Ould Sidi, returned to Nouakchott, on Friday, from the Ivorian capital after participating in the work of the Shield-Africa International Defense and Security exhibition, organized from 8 to 10 June.

This international meeting, which is organized every two years and in which African Ministers of Defense and Security participate, aims to enable African decision-makers in public and private institutions responsible for protecting development in Africa.

The purpose is to understand the importance of development in Africa, which constitutes a center of interest for the countries of the group, and which can only be achieved through the security of its countries and the protection of its populations and their development activities.
